ハニカム・ブロガーとしてお馴染みジェフ・ステイプル。そんな彼が自身のホームタウンであるNYで手掛けているセレクトショップ「Reed Space」。学生時代の恩師の名を引用した「Reed Space」は、何かを学び取れるショップとして、これまで多くのクリエイティブを世に送り出してきた。

そんな「Reed Space」がヘッド・ポーターとタッグを組み、新シリーズ『PRISM COLLECTION』を発表。
デイパックやノートケース、トラベルオーガナイザーなどなど、バリエーション豊かなラインナップに、光のフルスペクトラムをイメージした配色の計7色（赤、橙、黄、緑、青、藍、紫）から各アイテムは1色ずつで鮮やかに彩られ、実に華やかな印象を与えるコレクションとなっている。

純白色光がプリズムを通り光の色に分けられるように、インディペンデント・クリエイティブ・サブカルチャーのプリズム的存在として機能してきた「Reed Space」らしいアイディアが、見事に具体化されたシリーズと言える。

Welcome to the new series called, "Prism Collection", by Reed Space and Head Porter.

Our honeyee.com blogger, jeffstaple, is the founder of "Reed Space", located in his hometown of NY.
"Reed Space", which was named after his high school mentor, has fathered many creative works as a store that cultivates the significance of education.

Reed Space has now teamed up with Head Porter to launch a new series, the Prism Collection.
The lineup consists of seven items including a backpack, note case, passport case, and more.
Each item being one of the seven colors in the light spectrum (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet) resulting in a very vibrant collection.

This series is a reflection of the idea as "Reed Space" being the prism that filters the diversity in this independent creative subculture, just as a prism breaks up white light into a spectrum of color.
